  • Prescription: the cost of getting a prescription from Qoctor can vary slightly, depending on your condition and the medication you need. The fee is $24.99 - $31.99 (plus delivery) for more simple online assessments, but can be up to a maximum of $31.99 (plus delivery) where a more detailed assessment is necessary. This will be made clear as you go through the booking process. When your prescription is presented to your local pharmacy, the cost of the medication itself will be charged separately, and depends on their pricing.

  • Medication delivery: Qoctor offers mail delivery of certain medications (e.g. the contraceptive pill, treatment for erectile dysfunction, hair loss, premature ejaculation, migraine, sexual health, acne) - for this service the online assessment/consultation fee is $24.99 or $31.99 (depending on the service you select) plus delivery and the cost of the actual medication itself.

  • Pathology: STI basic screen package $39.99, STI extensive screen package $42.99

  • General GP appointment: $49.99

All the above services are subject to the doctor's assessment. Occasionally our doctors may not be able to issue a certificate or prescription online, for safety reasons, and may recommend you to see a local doctor in person instead. In this case, a refund will be issued.

As a private service, there are no Medicare rebates for our fees. Medicare generally requires that you've attended the practice in person within the last 12 months before a telehealth consult can be rebated (bulk-billed). Some online services advertise that they bulk-bill by relying on exemptions to this rule, for example for patients in declared disaster areas or very remote locations. In practice, most Australians don't fall into these exemption categories, so most people can't access bulk-billed telehealth from a provider they've never seen in person.

We will always aim to keep our prices low and our service accessible to everyone.
